Back to School, and (Happily) Back to Reading Your Blogs

We began our home school year yesterday, and with that, I resumed some of my school year habits – including reading your blog posts.

During the summer, I let go of a few of my favorite activities in hopes of knocking down the many tasks on my to-do list, mostly house cleaning/painting/crafting/renovation projects. Having accomplished most of them, I am ready to get back into the rather different sort of busyness of the school year.

That includes time in WordPress, happily mulling over the words you all contribute to the blogosphere.

Thank you for continuing with your carefully crafted posts. I know how challenging it can be to blog regularly – even more so to read and comment upon others’ blogs.

If you feel that sharing your thoughts on WordPress is a calling or ministry, I encourage you to keep at it.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. – I Peter 4:10

I appreciate your efforts, and I know the Lord does also! In Scripture, he says of those faithful to do the tasks he has given, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord (Matthew 25:21).”

Your words have often made me examine my spiritual walk and have lifted my spirits during difficult times – and aren’t we called to do that?

Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

I’m looking forward to another season of reading your posts! God bless you as you write.

How has WordPress impacted your life? I welcome your comments.

  1. I too have just concluded my ‘busy’ season and am happily back in my office full-time. This allows me the time to read and reply to folks here (like you!). I am often challenged by the different perspectives I come across. I find this to be a good thing, for it makes me seek God for more of His truth and wisdom.
So I join you in encouraging others to keep on writing and sharing. I for one am daily blessed as I encounter the thoughts of others.
Blessing to you and the new school year,
    Pastor Chuck

  2. My involvement with WordPress has enabled me to reach out and develop ties with people I may well never meet, but consider friends just the same. You and Shae are prime examples, along with Jennifer as she does her missionary work in Peru. It’s been fun!
