Old Soul Quotes: Choices

After some prayerful consideration and conversations with my family, I’ve decided to cut back on blogging (at least temporarily). Though I only post a few times each week, those posts take time that my family needs to invest in their lives, and that I need to invest in freelance work.

I hope to continue posting occasionally, and in reading your posts when I can! Being involved with blogging has brought back to me the pleasure of writing, and it has introduced me to some incredible and inspiring writers. Thank you all, and God bless you.

In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility. – Eleanor Roosevelt

We are Jesus Christ’s; we belong to him. But even more, we are increasingly him. He moves in and commandeers our hands and feet, requisitions our minds and tongues, We sense his rearranging; debris into the divine, pig’s ear into silk purse. He repurposes bad decisions and squalid choices. Little by little, a new image emerges. – Max Lucado

    1. I hope it’s only temporary…I do hope to keep up with my poetry and perhaps post about the process of getting it published after many years away from that field. And I will get back to reading your posts and others as well!😊

  1. Totally support you here and have had to do the same for several weeks. Now I snatch a moment here and there, but it’s looking like I’ll have to cut back in the weeks to come as well. Too much going on here in my “analog life.” People I love, people in need, and work to be done… It’s all a season! ❤

  2. Balance is the key, and you’re looking for just that. I think it is great that you are stepping back for a while–it lends to some perspective of what is important, and you seem to have found it! Blessings and my God look after you always!
