This week will be the sixth of our home-school year…already! With two tenth-graders and a third grader, time flies by. I’ve had to purpose in my heart to make every moment worthwhile, living each day fully and with as few regrets as possible.
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. – Psalm 90:12
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. – Ecclesiastes 3:11
Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. – Matthew 28:20b
Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. – II Corinthians 6:2c
One day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise…but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. – II Peter 3:8,9
Time stays long enough for anyone who will use it. – Leonardo da Vinci
The time you spend alone with God will transform your character and increase your devotion. Then your integrity and godly behavior in an unbelieving world will make others long to know the Lord. – Charles Stanley
Take time to deliberate; but when the time for action arrives, stop thinking and go in. – Andrew Jackson
Patience and time do more than strength of passion. – Jean de La Fontaine
Have regular hours for work and play; make each day both useful and pleasant, and prove that you understand the worth of time by employing it well. Then youth will be delightful, old age will bring few regrets, and life will become a beautiful success. – Louisa May Alcott
Wishing you enough hours in each day to take time for what really matters this week! Thank you for reading, and God bless.
