As so often happens in Scripture, a short verse can contain powerful truths. This verse leaped off the page when reading my daughter’s post about peacemakers last week.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. – Romans 14:19
Do you have a Scripture memory plan you follow each week? If you do, you know that it is life-changing! I’d love it if you shared your experience in the comments below.
Yea the verse I memorize that sticks with me is Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not into thine own understanding. A lot of times God does things we don’t understand and we have put our faith and trust in Him that everything we be okay. Great Post!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been focusing on 1 Corinthians 2:05. (I think it is verse 5) I’m sharing it for next week’s Moment With Jesus. But it says not to put faith in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God. It is amazing how pieces of scripture will fly off the page and right into our heart. 🙂

So true…and a verse we may have not noticed before can take on new meaning.

Absolutely! Or the ones that have spoken to us before may speak to us in new ways.
