A busy week of final exams and an equally busy weekend involving a robotics competition are behind us! Our home-schooling year is nearly complete, with only a few days of standardized testing this week.
During these busy times, it can be easy for me to lose focus on what matters most and function in the flesh rather than the spirit; but a passage like this brings my heart back into communion with the Lord.
I wish the same for you all in this new week.
For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. – I Peter 2:21-24
